Slag and Marble Glass
Slag, also known as Marble Glass, was made by Westmoreland in the 1970s and 1980s as part of its production line and also part of Levay Glass for limited edition. The primarily marble colors produced are purple, green, brown, red and blue with blue slag being the rarest slag produced in very limited numbers. Westmoreland's slag has never been reproduced It should be noted that the market today is flooded with poor reproductions from China of Westmoreland's marble glass being produced from moulds sold at Westmoreland's factory closing which still retain the Grossman Westmoreland mark.
