In 1920, George R. West left the company and his younger brother, Charles H. West, became the President. Westmoreland's decorating department expanded to 95 decorators and cutters. Westmoreland shifted its focus to hand-painted, cut, etched, and decorated glass pieces showcasing Westmoreland's artistic craftsmanship.
