Westmoreland #23 Vase Mould. This mould was purchased directly from Pairpoint Glass company at its mould auction in 2003(?). Pairpoint purchased the mould from Westmoreland at its closing in 1985 and receipts from the original purchase from Westmoreland were procured so chain of custody has been established that Westmoreland made this vase. This paste mould dates back to the 1900s. Collectors sometimes get confused about this vase and believe that another company such as Fostoria produced it.
