Historical Context

The first bulldog doorstop can be seen in a 1914 Westmoreland photograph. This color was produced in the 1920s. US Glass - Tiffin did not produce a large or small Bulldog and was not included in the Tiffin Glass club's list of products made by Tiffin per Ken Nicol who was part of the project to research Tiffin glass products. This doorstop has been reproduced heavily by Summit Art Glass and Mosser Glass Company. The mould is in private hands.
