The Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania had in its Industrial Arts Department an extensive collection of glass and pottery from different manufacturers in the United States from 1920 to 1939. President Charles W. West was invited by the curator of Carnegie, to provide glass for a display of the best of Westmoreland's artist. West had his best decorator, Joseph Bischof, and his best engraver, Joseph R. Racinger, formerly of Sinclair Glass in Corning, New York, provide to the museum an array of decorated glass. The glass was typically marked in grease paint with the accession number "7058" or "7191" on the bottom. Other accession numbers maybe found. Any engraved glass will be signed and dated by Joseph Racinger along with the company name.

This gallery will show the glass that has been located and identified as glass that was displayed at the Carnegie Museum. If you think you have a piece of glass that was displayed at Carnegie contact the site administrator at westmorelandglass@gmail.com.
