Westmoreland had numerous talented artists that worked for the company in it long history. These included painters that were recruited from Italy and Bohemia to the modern decorators such as Fred Otte, Ernie Brown, Don Green, and Cindy Peltier, to name just a few. Glass cutting and engraving was an art form in the West period with master cutter Joseph Racinger exemplifying his work with a display at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, Pa from 1921-1937.
