The coal car candy container pictured is the second piece in the three-part train candy container produced by Westmoreland in the 1920s. The container opens from the top with a black tin closure. The front and back have ball and socket couplers. The panels are marked in simulated rivets with "N.Y.C." in the center. It measures 4" L x 1 5/8" W x 1 13/16 H.
