This undocumented group of oil lamps have been noted by Westmoreland expert Greg A. Jennings to have the same cutting and colors that can be found on Westmoreland's line 1049 dolphin oil lamps.  The lamp has been coined as the "Mayflower" lamp because of its similar shape to the Mayflower oil lamp produce by the McKee Glass Company.
